Broken Neck (a.k.a. cervical fracture or fractured neck) is a break or fracture of the cervical vertebrae of your neck. Cervical vertebrae support the head and allow your neck to twist and bend. The vertebrae enclose and protect the spinal cord, which controls your ability to move. Some of the symptoms of a broken neck are pain radiating from the neck down to the shoulders and/or arms, muscle weakness of the arms/ legs, swelling and bruising and serious breathing difficulties etc.
